Billing of medical services to students can be tricky due to the student’s often discontinuous presence on campus.

Many students are only around for one semester and have already left when the mail with the final medical invoice reaches them. Likewise, many students go on internships for periods ranging from 2 to 6 months, often abroad, and do not receive invoices and reminders until several months later.
